«HELP DESK SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Job Description:

Tier 1 Service Desk:

·   Provide phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and custom-developed applications. He/She will serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, PC, and printer problems.

Provide support to the client Management Services Organization (MSO) Business Analysis Division in implementing an automated Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) environment in compliance with OMB Circular A-123, Appendix A. This work will include the following:

·   Participate in a team effort to implement internal controls and reporting, as well as best practices covering governance, risk, and compliance with A-123 and Appendix A. Work with 3rd party vendors, other internal contractors, and MSO personnel to identify, modify, and/or define internal workflows for programs and financial reporting. This individual will be trained on the GRC tool suite.

·   Help develop a 3rd part vendor SOW and MSO documentation to support the GRC implementation. Documentation may include a Project Plan, Requirements Specification, Risk Management Plan, and WBS for the GRC project, as well as other documentation as needed to ensure that all parties are working to meet set requirements, costs, and schedules.

·   Define, refine, and capture internal controls in compliance with A-123, Appendix A, for financial and program reporting.

The Proposal Manager manages individual proposal process and development teams and acts as the focal point for producing the final deliverables to the customer (both hard copy and electronic submissions).
