Enterprise Asset Management

In today’s information age, asset management data may be maintained by financial, estimating, budget, or other similar systems that often use different data structures to store the same information and different sets of business rules to determine data validity and acceptability. G&B provides data and application integration services from data cleansing to data warehousing to real-time data sharing. We also provide support to develop data classification and security policies, define data steward and data custodian roles, and create data management procedures. Our services facilitate data integration, optimize data management, and protect data validity.

From our first asset management contract awarded in early 2001, G&B Solutions has been instrumental in supporting Federal agencies in implementing MAXIMO^® within their organizations. In fact, G&B has developed its own implementation methodology for MAXIMO^®. Modeled after the traditional Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), G&B’s methodology also features business process reengineering (BPR) and redesign, security, and data integration.

G&B provides systems integration expertise, planning, and support for the upgrade and system optimization of MAXIMO maintenance management systems. G&B is experienced with upgrading MAXIMO from version 4.x to version 6.x. G&B’s staff is knowledgeable and experienced with the MAXIMO Enterprise Adaptor (MEA) and interfaces with financial systems such as Oracle Financials

G&B has the expertise and experience to provide assistance and make recommendations on overall upgrade approach and design. Our staff provide detailed business process analyses and mapping of current processes to existing software functionality of the upgraded software version and determine any gaps that exist.  These gaps help drive the system development.  G&B can also analyze current interfaces with other related systems, and can develop a system architecture for optimal utilization, performance, and configuration.  

G&B performs the life cycle of asset management system development including assessment and requirements definition, design, implementation, systems integration, and operations and maintenance.
